This Sunday at Hayes Valley Art Works, starting at 1pm, we will joined by the amazing folks from ArtsUp.org who have been curating pop-up arts events hosted by locals in unique and intimate venues around the world!
“We have a big and empty piece of land to transform into a beautiful art space. So we are gathering visual artists, musicians, chefs, theatre artists, urban farmers, designers and other creatives to create an art gallery, a studio, an art garden, a performing arts stage and dance floor, and anything else you’d like to propose.”
During the event you will have plenty of time to propose your ideas about what you could do to contribute to the project and shape a beautiful space. We’ll also have some music to mingle. Feel free to bring your instruments and creations. Anyone will be able to perform and showcase their creative work (-in-progress too). Art potluck style!
