We have raised enough funds to bring the Jam back through April – and hopefully continuing donations will keep it going all year!

Support Hayes Valley Art Works to continue our Jazz Jam, which has run for 4 years. Proceeds help keep our gallery, garden, and community programs thriving.
Our grant came to an end last May; we need community support! And what better way than to share art – and other items!
Singers and instrumentalists are invited to sit in! Register in advance with songs and keys here: https://tinyurl.com/JazzJamSignup. Jazz Jam etiquette – 1. Come prepared! Know your tunes and keys. 2. Please choose tunes available in iReal. 3. Paper charts discouraged – paper chart needs to be only 1-2 pages max, taped together, as we are outdoors, windy, no music stands. 5. We’ll call people who signed up in advance first, to sit in on one tune. 6. As time permits, we call up people for a 2nd tune.

This is an event that’s open to everyone, with light refreshments available by donation. We suggest a $10-20 cover donation, though no one is turned away. We encourage support for the band by giving an additional donation if you sit in, or if you just enjoy the music!
