We are seeking SPONSORS for the Jazz Jam!
Our impact in the neighborhood:
- Monthly Jazz Jam: A community-driven series where emerging local musicians share the stage with paid professionals—fostering talent, drawing diverse audiences, and activating our public garden with live music.
- Rotating gallery exhibitions and low cost or free hands-on art workshops for all.
- Pop-up performances and exhibits and low cost or free art making activities on the shared street, such as our annual Pet Parade that draws hundreds of visitors onto the street, boosting foot traffic for local businesses.
- A thriving community garden that transforms a once-vacant lot into a lush gathering spot, providing urban gardening access to participants.
Who we reach:
We serve a diverse base of nearly 19,000 neighbors (median age 38; median income $102.6K; two-thirds college-educated), plus thousands more from across the Bay Area—85% engage in arts programming, and 20% attend live jazz at least once a year.

Your investment fuels artist fees, garden upkeep, free workshops, and silent-auction prizes that keep Hayes Valley thriving year-round. We’d love to welcome you as a partner in making art accessible, public spaces safer, and our neighborhood more connected.
With hundreds of visitors to our community creation space, a $10 – $50 donation from 10% would put us well on our way to keeping Hayes Valley Arts Works a “welcoming open space” in Hayes Valley.
In its short lifetime, Hayes Valley Art Works has created a gathering space where neighborhood residents can mingle with professional and emerging artists from all over the Bay Area and feel tangible connection to our city’s creative community.
With successful partnership-based exhibitions, performances, activity days, and art residencies behind us, we’re already laying the groundwork for new collaborative exhibitions that showcase San Francisco’s vibrant systems of creative relationships, network of resources, and spirit of creative innovation.
Please help us reach our goal by donating, today. Every bit counts!
Without supporters like you, our work simply would not be possible. While your contribution may be monetary, the return is in the form of additional programming, memorable events and unique experiences in a beautiful community space where all are welcome.
Please remember that your donation to Hayes Valley Art Works is tax-deductible!
