Please join us for a Garden Party Play Date at Hayes Valley Art Works on Saturday, March 12th from 11am-12:30pm
Family fun, playing together outdoors, and a few little gardening projects as we learn about getting our backyard gardens ready for spring. Take-home projects for kids, ages 3+.
Projects for this spring’s garden workshop series, ‘Kids in Space’, include: planting, compost and worms, seed saving, garden design and maintenance, harvesting and garden safety.
What to bring: Recommended attire for muddy puddles and playing in a garden, plus a change of clothes, rubber boots and a towel. Bring a hat, wear layers and a bring a cup or water bottle and any snacks. If you have a favorite pair of garden gloves, bring them too.
We provide: a variety of garden tools, water and hot drinks for parents.
